The updated Figo gets Minor tweaks to its exterior design & has a much longer list of equipment. Among the major highlights is the new 1.2-litre petrol engine, which comes with a new slick 5-speed manual gearbox. The tried-&-tested 1.5 Diesel continues, but its got the new manual too.

FOR - Ride & handling, value for money.
AGAINST - No Android Auto/Apple Car Play & no Automatic option.
VERDICT - A great all-rounder that's even          better now.

The NiOS improves on the Grand i10 on nearly every metric. It's gone more kit, there's a diesel-auto option & it's bigger & more premium, inside & out. The torque-converter auto has been given a miss in favour of a cost-effective AMT, which is on offer with both 1.2 engines. A sportier 100 Hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol option is also available.

Mahindra has smartened up the KUV visually but the proportions remain comical & the SUV-inspired styling is still a love it or hate it affair. The cabin is spacious & interestingly enough can be had with six seats too. The KUV100 is easy to drive & reasonably well equipped too.

AGAINST - Oddball proportions & unexciting engine.

                                                                                     on the eye but still falls short of class-best.
